Lincoln Highway Dash August 28
Nevada’s longest-running 5k race, the Lincoln Highway Dash, is back once again on August 28!
The race, which is the third of four races in the RUN Nevada Race Series 2021 presented by Burke, will begin at Score Park at 9 am, and will conclude along the Lincoln Highway Days parade route on K Avenue next to State Bank and Bricktown Bakery, just prior to the parade. Shuttles will be available to take runners back to their cars following the race.
Participants must register by August 13 to guarantee their shirt size; shirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis after that date. There will be no race day registrations; all registrations must be complete by 5 pm on August 27.
RUN To Partner With The Arena on Nevada’s First Ever Bench ‘N’ Bolt
On Sunday, September 12, RUN will partner with The Arena to host Nevada’s first ever Bench ‘N’ Bolt 5k and fun run. This 5k and fun run will allow participants to bench press prior to the beginning of the race, with the opportunity to shave time off their final result in the race. Lifting is not required, and all runners are invited to be part of the race. Full rules can be found here.
The bench will take place at 1:00 pm, with the race starting at 2:00.

RUN Presents Checks To Local Service Organizations
Following the smashing successes of our early season races, the RUN Board of Directors recently presented checks to the following organizations:
In April, RUN partnered with Burke to host the 2nd Annual Nevada Nice Virtual 5k. The event supported The Nevada Foundation’s Pandemic Relief Fund, and raised $1,153.40 in support of their efforts.
In May, RUN partnered with Bricktown Bakery to host the 2nd Annual Bricktown Donut Dash. The event’s proceeds were donated to Nevada Food at First, bringing in a total of $2,013.52.
In June, RUN made Nevada history with the RUN Country Fest & 5k, featuring country stars Bryan White and Wade Hayes. The race and concert event benefitted The Nevada Foundation’s effort to raise money for the Nevada Field House. All told, the event raised $2,221.19 for the cause!
